The photographs above show the 2-month results of a male patient in his 70s from the US who underwent multiple facial rejuvenation procedures. Patient Profile and Concerns
Age/Sex : 71/M
Main concerns: Sagging skin on the face and neck, turkey neck, volume loss, and facial wrinkles
Objective: To remove excess loose skin, restore a youthful appearance, and regain a more vibrant, energetic look
Surgeries Performed
1. Extended deep plane facelift: Precise dissection of the deeper facial layers through incisions around the ears, focusing on the midface area to achieve a more defined and lifted appearance.
2. Platysmal necklift and Middle neck plication: Removal of loose skin on the neck via incision line extended from facelift incision line; Correction of a 'turkey neck' through a submental (under-chin) incision, tightening the central neck muscles and removing excess sagging tissue.
3. Supra brow lift: Removal of excess skin directly above the eyebrow with incision line along the brow, directly pulling the brow upwards.
4. Lower blepharoplasty & SOOF lift: Smoothing the under-eye area by adjusting and repositioning the natural fat pads to reduce hollowness and puffiness; Removing loose skin; Lifting the soft tissues beneath the eyes and in the upper cheek area to create a smoother, more youthful contour
5. Fat grafting: Injecting harvested fat into the cheekbones, mid-cheeks, marionette lines, around the lips, and glabella to restore volume to areas with age-related volume loss.
Recovery and Anesthesia
Anesthesia: General anesthesia with IV sedation was used (TIVA)
Recovery time: Stayed at VIP for approximately 14 days, during which he recovered from the initial major swelling and bruising, still in the recovery stage as the healing process continues. Only after 2 months, major swelling subsided well.
The volume in his face has been well preserved, and his overall appearance looks very natural. Dr.Lee also made a special effort to improve the area below his neck, and the results are clear—the neckline is now smooth and well-defined. What was previously sagging now looks significantly improved, and he looks very handsome. His eyebrows also have a beautiful shape, and Dr. Lee and Dr.Kim are very pleased with how well everything is healing.
