How do I schedule a video consultation?

Yes, we currently use WhatsApp and Zoom to assist with video consultations with patients. In order to schedule a video consultation with our doctor, we will receive basic information about you and photos to review for Dr. Myung Ju Lee. Please send us your photos in different angles with your questions and concerns through WhatsApp, and we will show your photos to Dr. Lee for comments and recommendations. After an initial photo consultation, you may move forward to a video consultation.

Can you make a simulation image of the final surgery result?

What should I do to book a surgery?

After an online consultation, we will need a copy of your passport, and we will need to receive a surgical deposit to book your surgery date.

What health check tests do I need to send to you?

Please send us a message requiring the list of tests for the health check, and we will send it to you according to the surgery you are interested in. Please do let us know any medications and supplements you are taking, along with your health history.

What should I prepare for the surgery?

Please note, we will need your medical history, list of medications, and/or vitamins you take. You will also need to undergo health check tests. It can be done either in Korea before the surgery, or you can do it beforehand in your country, but within one week before the surgery. If you decide to make a health check in Korea, please count in a few extra days for the test results to get ready. Please send an inquiry about the pre-surgery checklist for further guidance.

What are the post-care services VIP offers?

We provide post-care for all our patients. After the surgery, you will need to visit the clinic for Dr.Lee’s check-ups every day until the stitches are out. We also provide a complimentary skincare service to soothe your skin and hasten your recovery. Furthermore, our building consists of 24 hours nursing service in case of medical needs. We provide medical room services such as nursing service and meal service after your surgery as well.

How long should I stay in Korea?

Recovery usually takes 1-2 weeks, so you will need approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on the surgery. 12 to 14 days after the surgery are usually enough for most surgeries. Please note that depending on the surgery and your condition, the duration may vary.

What are the current travel restrictions?

Do I need to get a visa?

With most passports, if you enter directly at CJU (Jeju) airport, you do not need a visa for your trip. Most international CJU flights are from Singapore and Shanghai. However, if you would like to visit any other cities outside of the island, you may need to prepare a visa in advance. This also applies to flights entering from ICN and GMP. Please check the Korean embassy website to check whether you need a visa according to your citizenship.

Is Jeju far away from Seoul?

I am travelling alone, can I handle the recovery on my own?

For solo-travel patients, we provide nurse care for the first 24-hours after major surgeries such as facelift, rhinoplasty, and facial contouring. Many of our international patients travel by themselves without any problems. If you book your surgery date, we provide complimentary accommodation which is located in the same building as the clinic, therefore you don’t have to travel for your appointments.
