Invited as a panelist for the Asian Rhinoplasty Session, Dr. Myung Ju Lee discussed common problems associated with the Asian nose and highlighted the limitations of existing rhinoplasty methods. Emphasizing the importance of overall facial harmony, he introduced a new concept called “Harmony Rhinoplasty,” which utilizes autologous rib cartilage. Presenting to hundreds of plastic surgeons from across Asia, Dr. Lee showcased this innovative approach as a way to overcome the challenges specific to the Asian nose while achieving a more balanced facial appearance.
